Terms of use

The deal between you and us, and what we are and are not responsible for.

Who you are agreeing with

These terms are between you and Aluminur Ltd (company number 15809037, registered office 234 Sydenham Road, Croydon, England, CR0 2EB), trading as Mazdurr. By using Mazdurr you accept them. You need to be 18 or over and in the United Kingdom.

What Mazdurr is, and what it is not

We are not the builder. Mazdurr routes a job to traders, holds the money safely while the work happens, and keeps the record of what was agreed and signed off. The contract for the work itself is between you and the trader. We are not a party to it, we do not carry out the work, and we do not supervise it.

That is not a way of dodging responsibility. It is what lets a trader stay their own business, and it is why the record we keep is built from things that actually happened rather than from opinions afterwards.

What it costs

Position on Mazdurr is not for sale. We do not sell rank, badges or leads, to anyone, at any price. Where a trader sits in the order work is offered is decided by how quickly they answer, how much work they have signed off, how far their checks go and how near the job is. That list is published in the app.

How a job works

Money

Payments are handled by Stripe. Money for a stage is held before that stage starts and released to the trader after you have signed it off. Mazdurr never holds your money itself and never sees your card details.

If a trader withdraws before starting, held money is returned in full.

When it goes wrong

Talk to each other first. Most of it is a misunderstanding about scope and gets sorted in one conversation. If it does not, either side can escalate to us and we will look at the record: the dated timeline, the photos, what was agreed and what was signed off. You can produce that record yourself at any time as an evidence pack.

We can hold a release, refund a held stage, or remove somebody from the platform. What we cannot do is decide a dispute about the quality of building work as though we were a court. Your statutory rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, are unaffected by anything here, and nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.

Cancelling

You can stop using Mazdurr whenever you like and delete your account in the app. As a consumer you have 14 days to cancel your agreement with us for the platform service. That is separate from your agreement with a trader, which is between the two of you and has its own cancellation rights. If you asked a trader to start work inside that period, you may owe them for what they have already done.

What you put on Mazdurr

Photos, descriptions and messages stay yours. You give us permission to store and show them where the service needs to, such as showing a job to the traders it is offered to. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to, and do not upload anything abusive or unlawful. We can remove content and suspend accounts that break this.

A trader's record is theirs. It can be exported in full at any time and nothing about it stops working if they leave.

Availability

We will keep the service running as well as we reasonably can, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. We may change or withdraw features, and we will not remove something you are relying on without notice where we reasonably can avoid it.

Our liability

We are responsible for running the platform properly. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or timeliness of work a trader carries out, or for what you and a trader agree between yourselves. Where we are liable, our liability to you is limited to the charges you have paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose. None of this limits anything that cannot be limited by law.

Suspension

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts somebody at risk, or is being used fraudulently. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.

Changes, and the law that applies

We may change these terms. If a change matters we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. This version is dated 25 August 2026.
